GV volunteers provide group transportation several times a month to nearby grocery stores for GV members. The volunteers pick up participating members one by one at their respective homes and drop them off at home after the grocery store visit. Members have up to one hour to shop at the store. Due to the group nature of the trip, volunteers will not be available to support individual members with pushing carts or carrying groceries inside the store. If you are in need of this type of support, please let the GV office know, as we are happy to provide this one-on-one volunteer service at a separate time.
We ask members to sign up to participate no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled trip.
